Robson Square filled up as the city’s most fashionable crowd gathered Tuesday afternoon to launch the highly anticipated Eco Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2012. With ValueVillage on board this time as one of the official sponsors, stylist Deanna Palkowski, Sarah La Greca, and Myriam Laroche (founder of Vancouver Eco Fashion Week) curated a collection entirely from Value Village and donated clothing.
The show started off with soft colour pallets (baby pink, powder blue and mint, as seen on runways all over Europe and NYC) and ended with glitter and embellished outerwear. Sarah and Deanna showed that trendy doesn’t necessarily mean spending loads of money on new clothes, as similar pieces may be found hanging on your closest vintage shop.
